Introduction

A general guide on comparing the preset settings within Tower of Fantasy as the color presets given. There will be a bit of commentary below each image, though feel free to ignore it if you would rather let the picture speak for itself.

Baseline settings that will always stay consistent will be my resolution and anti-aliasing setting. In the case of the color presets, assume that it will be done in original quality.

Extreme

If you look near the edge of the bridge, we can see here we're missing the tires. Other than the draw distance, I'm having difficulty distinguishing a difference that is not from the game time being slightly different.

Fine

We can see some loss from the grass if we look closely enough, and some of the detail from the screen is some minor haloing from the turrets in the distance. Though overall, as the setting indicates, it looks fine.

Balanced

There's a huge amount of grass that is lost in balanced mode, and we can see that the draw distance here even took away the fence along the bridge. Further, the ground in the distance looks very flat as the grass textures are not rendering.

Smooth

It's very smooth, as it looks back on the good old days when I played quake. Even worse, we can see that the logo above the base looks very flat in this setting. However, I don't mind how it looks; it makes me feel oddly nostalgic. However, if you don't feel that same sense, you should try to aim for Fine.
